XIP Books
The QuickBooks Online connection inside XIP, the work platform published by Empyrean LLC, for accounting, invoicing and project reporting within an organization that runs XIP.
Empyrean LLC is the application publisher and integration operator. Each organization that runs XIP connects its own QuickBooks company and remains a separate business. This is not a public sign-up service.
What the connection is for
XIP reads the selected QuickBooks company's identity, preferences, chart of accounts, customers, products and services, invoices, and the profit and loss, balance sheet, general ledger and trial balance reports, for internal reporting, project financials and reconciliation.
XIP can also create customers, invoices or journal entries, but only when an authorized person at the connected organization approves each one; every created record is read back from QuickBooks to confirm it. The connection does not process payments, run payroll, change bank feeds or file taxes.
Only an authorized QuickBooks administrator can approve company access through Intuit's consent flow. This information page does not initiate OAuth or receive authorization codes.
